As you may be aware Wigan Council are about to start a short term piece of work that will help describe the long term vision for the Borough in a new way. It will form a core part of the new Sustainable Community Strategy that will be produced in early summer this year.
The focus for this vision2026 work will be a series of discussions with the 800 babies who have been born in the Borough this year so far! We want to ask them what kind of place they want to live in when they turn 18 in the year 2026.
Obviously we will also be talking to their parents, families, friends, neighbours (in fact everyone and anyone who is interested to take part).

We’ve also included a list of the sessions that will be held over the next month or so.
